Our Pastor
Dr. Greene is the second of six children born to the late Mr. and Mrs.
J C. Greene of Mt. Gilead NC. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC
where he previously served for several years as Director of
Evangelism and Armor-bearer to the Pastor at The Macedonia New
Life Church. Dr. Greene is married to the former Kerri Yvonne West.
The two of them are the proud parents of five children: Shenetta,
(Jermaine), Amber, Nequilla, Adam, Michal; one lovely
granddaughter, Reagan; two adorable grandsons Khali and Grayson.
Dr. Greene accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 9
and was baptized at the Lilly’s Bridge Crossing. He was blessed
through-out his childhood to be mentored by many seasoned Elders
of the Roper Grove & Snow Hill AME Zion Churches located in
Montgomery and Richmond counties of NC. He often speaks of the
excellence of community unity and leadership experienced in (The Wadeville Community).
In 1996 Dr. Greene responded to what would become a global call to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while under the Ministry and Mentorship of the late Dr. G. Wesley Raney. In 1997 while deployed with the Army National Guard 1454th Transportation Company to Bosnia-Herzegovina Dr. Greene accepted the appointment of Pastor of the Guardian Base Gospel Service, a multi-ethnic congregation. It was
during this initial assignment that the hand of God became visibly clear with unprecedented favor as many souls were won to Christ.
Dr. Greene’s lifelong educational journey as a student began in the Montgomery County public Schools. He has received the following degrees: an Associate Applied Science in Business Administration Rutledge Business College and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, Religion & Sociology Shaw University both in Raleigh NC. Dr. Greene’s postgraduate studies are comprised of a myriad professional and military initiatives and schools to include studying at the University of Maryland European Division and Colorado State University where he was licensed a Change Management Practioner. Lastly, in May 2022 Dr. Greene received his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from the Hosanna Bible College in Durham NC.
Dr. Greene is a 22-year decorated retired veteran of the Army National Guard. Dr. Greene recently retired from The US Department of Homeland Security after crediting more than 22 years of public service. Dr. Greene is a lead by example community advocate for affordable housing, health care, vaccines, and many other human condition necessities. For the past 12 years Dr. Greene has worked enthusiastically as a Board of Director on The White Oak Foundation non-profit Apex NC. Dr. Greene is a highly valued voice locally and abroad leading medical and missionary missions to Ghana Africa on a regular basis. Dr. Greene is considered a covenant brother and is requested to make regular appearances on the national radio broadcast of the Refreshing Hour International Ministries in Ghana where Bishop Ebenezer Sefah is founding Prelate.
Dr. Greene states other than marrying the love of his life, his greatest accomplishment has been leading The Christian Home Christian Church over the past 13 years. God has literally brought us out of darkness and now we are walking in a season of Jubilee.
